How the Kitchen24 customer app collects, uses, shares, and protects your information.
Last updated: June 10, 2026 · Effective date: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kitchen 24/7 ("Kitchen 24/7", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Kitchen24 customer mobile application and related services (the "App"). The App lets you discover restaurants, place food-delivery and take‑away orders, make dine‑in bookings, pay, track your order in real time, chat with restaurants and delivery partners, and use wallet, coupons, cashback, gift cards and referrals.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the App:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account & profile | First and last name, email address, phone number, password (stored securely / not in plain text), profile photo, country/dialing code, language preference. |
| Delivery addresses & location | Saved delivery addresses (house/flat number, area, landmark, label) and the precise geographic coordinates you set on the map; your device's approximate or precise location when you choose "use current location" or track a live order. |
| Orders & transactions | Order contents, amounts, taxes, tips, coupons, cashback, delivery and special instructions, scheduled times, order and booking history, wallet balance and transactions, gift‑card purchases and redemptions, referrals. |
| Payment information | Your selected payment method and transaction identifiers, status and references. Card and bank credentials are collected and processed directly by our third‑party payment processors — we do not store full card numbers or CVV. |
| Content you provide | Ratings and reviews, photos you upload (e.g., reviews), in‑app chat messages and media exchanged with restaurants and delivery partners, support requests, and optional voice input for voice search. |
| Device & technical data | Device model, operating system, app version, unique device/app identifiers, push notification (FCM) token, IP address, time zone, crash and diagnostic logs, and basic usage analytics. |
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the App and your orders); your consent (e.g., precise location, marketing, optional permissions); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement); and legal obligation (tax, accounting, regulatory requirements).
The customer App uses location only while the app is in use. We use your location to set and confirm your delivery address, show restaurants available in your zone, and display the live tracking map for an active order. The customer App does not collect location in the background. You can disable location permission at any time in your device settings; some features (such as map‑based address selection and live tracking) may then be limited.
| Permission | Why we request it |
|---|---|
| Location (while in use) | Set/confirm delivery address and show live order tracking. |
| Camera | Take a profile photo, scan QR codes, and add photos to reviews. |
| Photos / storage | Upload images from your gallery (profile, reviews, chat). |
| Microphone | Optional voice search. |
| Notifications | Send order updates and service messages. |
Permissions are requested at the time the related feature is used, and you may grant or deny each one.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the service:
The App relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.
Payments are processed by PCI‑DSS‑compliant third‑party processors. When you pay, your card or banking details are submitted directly to the relevant processor. We receive a payment confirmation, method type, masked identifiers and transaction references — we do not receive or store your full card number or CVV. Wallet balances and in‑app transactions are recorded to operate the wallet feature.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App. We keep order, transaction and tax records for the periods required by applicable law. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it. See Account & data deletion.
We use industry‑standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated access, App Check attestation, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and authorities of breaches where required by law.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, port, restrict or object to processing of, and delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can edit much of your profile and addresses directly in the App, or contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
On account deletion we remove or anonymise your personal profile, saved addresses, and other personal data, except records we are legally required to retain (e.g., transaction and tax records, fraud‑prevention logs) which we keep only for the mandated period and then delete. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, including by our service providers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date, and where required we will notify you in the App. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
